THE SCHOOL OF MINISTRY AND MISSION - SOMM
The School of Ministry and Missions (SOMM) is an experience that will answer the most important question about your life – "What would God have you do?"
The understanding of your life mission depends on how you answer this question. It is the second question the Apostle Paul asked the LORD JESUS when he appeared to him on the way to Damascus (Acts 9:6)
"What would You have me do?" is the central focus of the School of Ministry and Mission. (See Acts 9:6).
The curriculum includes live teaching sessions, videos, group discussions & workshops. The teachings are inspired by the experiences of the facilitators in the field of missions and ministering in the Market places.
The Mission curriculum is designed to educate, equip and empower you and your group for God's call to Ministries and Missions. The "What would You have me do?" Ministry and Missions campaign is done in consonance with the curriculum of the School of Ministries and Missions (SOMM) by LIFE Institute of Biblical Studies -- LIBS.

Many believers in CHRIST would like to have a time of sound teaching and study in the WORD of God for their spiritual development and/or preparation for their ministry and missions. During the SOMM program, you are expected to complete practicum hours in the classroom, at outreaches, missions projects, conferences, and with Christian organizations.
The purpose is to receive a good understanding of your ministry and missions as a believer in CHRIST. What you learn during this time would impact you and transform your life in a very special way.

The programs will also prepare you for basic aspects of life and ministry in the local church, with additional information on marriage and relationships, leadership and success management, health and wellness, and principles of time and financial management.

COURSE OF STUDY
The course of study will include the following;

1. Basic Biblical studies for proper discipleship and disciples making.​
2. Transformational Leadership, and Theological training
3. School of Ministries and Missions
4. Pastoral Ethics and Ministries
5. School of Evangelism
6. Biblical teaching on the Fivefold Ministries
7. Apostolic and Prophetic Balance

The Certificate course of the School of Ministry and Missions is appropriate for believers who desire basic study of Biblical doctrines, ministers and missionaries who are engaged in disciples making, church members and workers who are required to complete a course of Biblical education before their service, and/or individuals who desire to experience theological training to clarify their ministry calling and prepare for their service to God.
REQUIREMENTS AND PREREQUISITES
Applicants who desire a Certificate of Ministry and Missions must:
1. Complete all of the lectures and note-taking outlines
2. Complete required assignments (external reading or written
summaries)
3. Complete and pass each area of the study's Final Assessment
4. Complete the elective requirements.
COMPLETE REQUIREMENTS
The following requirements must be met to complete the Certificate of Ministry and Missions:
Demonstrate a working knowledge of the content of the Scriptures.
Complete all required areas of study with a passing grade of 80%.
Complete fieldwork and on-the-job training.
