BREAKING FREE IN CHRIST MINISTRIES INTL.

THE POWER
OF PRAYER
Praying should not depend on ritual, but on relationship with God. It should be built on an intimate, growing relationship with the Person of JESUS CHRIST. Men who are intimate with God cannot be intimidated by satan or his agents.
Praying right also means that we pray in faith. God designed prayer to help us access His intimate treasures in Heaven, and through faith we draw them into the earth realm. He established the prayer system so we can express our love to Him and have intimate conversation with Him.
Prayer, apart from fellowship with God, is mere ritual. Praying right is more than just talking to God; but it is the art of communicating (communing) with God. When we pray right, we are able to cross the bridge that connects us as human beings with the Divinity of God, that links our weakness to His strength and that causes our need to encounter His power and provisions.
POWER OF PRAYING TOGETHER
No believer is greater than his prayer life. Those who fail in prayers fail in everything, because prayer gives us the ability to connect with the Presence of God, His provisions, plans and purposes for us.
No child of God lives wrong when he has prayed right. Hence, the problem that most people have is not whether they do or do not pray, but if they are praying right.
James 4:2-3 tells us that the reason we do not receive answers to our prayers when we pray is because we pray wrong. Here is what it states: "Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts".
What the HOLY SPIRIT is teaching here is that we must ensure our desires in prayer are not focused on improper objects, or imbued with improper motives. We should not build our prayer life on greed or covetousness, but on the desire to glorify God through the things He gives us. Our aim when we pray, should be to bless others with our blessings and not to pamper our lusts.
We wish to engage you in corporate prayers and mutual faith. We love to explore with you what the Scriptures describe as the power of two. The LORD JESUS states in Matthew 18:19, "Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my FATHER in heaven". We desire to help you pray right and pray according to the WORD of God.
