WHY LIFE DEVOTIONALS

LIFE Devotionals are designed to help us remember that God wants us to daily walk in the reality of the freedom that CHRIST provided for us through His death and resurrection. (Galatians 5:1). They also show us how to apply the principles of the WORD of God to obtain His promises.

LIFE Devotionals give opportunity for everyone to stop and reset their minds and refocus it on what matters most, which is their relationship with God. The moments we set aside for personal reflection, meditation on the WORD of God and prayers will become habit-forming for our Christian walk.

The benefits we will derive from a regular time with God using LIFE Devotionals are immense;

They remind us of who we are because of what CHRIST did and how we ought to respond to this great love from God.

They refocus us on where to put our trust. We are to trust in the LORD with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5)

They remind us what should be our priorities as we set on our activities daily, which is to lead a life that is pleasing to God by loving Him and loving others.

GOD'S SAFETY NET

"No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it." (1 Corinthians 10:13) NKJV

You may have been through so many tragedies in life, wondering how you will come out of them. Before you give up hope and fall into despair, despondency and depression, I want you to know that God has an escape plan and safety net for you. His WORD says there is no temptation taking you but that is common to men, but God is faithful, He will not allow you to be tempted above what you can bear, but He will with the temptation provide a way of escape so you can bear it

The trials and tragedies you've been through may have tested the mettle of your life, that you fell into depression and many vices. God will not abandon you, He will send someone into your life to save you.

The temptation and trials are real. The enemy of our soul satan is also real. But much more real is God and His provisions of escape and help. Look beyond your pain now and see God's help come in your situation. The enemy may be lurking, ready to pounce on you when you least expect it, like a lion stalking a lamb. But the lion of the tribe of Judah is with you and He will defend your cause and make you experience victory always.

Heavenly FATHER, I thank You for Your WORD, God for divine vision to see things like you and wisdom to know what do and come out victorious in all my trials and troubles in JESUS MIGHTY NAME. Amen.

HEARING FROM GOD

Scriptures: My sheep hear my voice, I know them and they follow me..." (John 10:27) NKJV

God has solutions to all your problems and answers to all your questions. If you have a desire from God, He wants to speak to you about it and give you specific instructions how to solve it. He wants to tell you what you must do to receive His provisions. Where ever you are at right now, He wants to help you hear His voice and know His will.

He said, "My sheep hear my voice, I know them and they follow me..." (John 10:27) NKJV

God wants to speak to you about your day to day activities through His WORD and His SPIRIT. He doesn't go quiet on His children when they speak to Him. Just because you are not hearing from God yet, doesn't mean He didn't listen when you prayed or He is not willing to speak to you. Perhaps the problem you may have is something is blocking the way of your conversation.

Clearing the way to hear from God is very crucial to your relationship with God. The answer to every trouble your are facing is hearing from God and doing what He asked you to do. (See John 2:5) Two things maybe responsible for your not hearing from God; spiritual blockage from a spiritual entity, which is a demon who is creating a barrier to your fellowship with God, and/or mental blockage, such as religious, relational, psychological or intellectual mindset.

When it's a demon spirit blocking the way of your hearing, cast it out in the name of the LORD JESUS CHRIST and if it's a problem of mindset, renew your mind in the WORD of God through active meditation on God’s promises. There’s no reason to go day after day or week after week, without hearing from God on matters that bother you. You don't have to be stuck in the non-hearing place, it’s time to hear from God and do what He tells you to do.

Prayers:

Heavenly FATHER, I thank You for Your WORD. I cast out every demon spirit blocking the way of my hearing Your voice in JESUS name and I intentionally renew my mind in Your WORD through a faith based meditation, so I can hear Your voice clearly in JESUS name. Amen.

The Power of Sharing
your Testimony

"If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater; for the testimony of God is this, that He has testified concerning His Son". (1John 5:9)

"And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death". (Revelation 12:9)

The power of sharing the testimony of God's supernatural intervention is immense. The latin root word for testimony is testis, it means “witness.” Bearing witness of God's miracles and blessings in our lives is a display of gratitude to Him and helps us to receive more blessings from Him.

Whatever blessing you received from God, He wants you to testify of His goodness before other people, so they can be persuaded to trust Him in their situation as well. When you share the testimony of God's supernatural intervention in your life with people, you give Him the opportunity to replicate His intervention in the lives of everyone who hears it.

Human beings are social in nature, people love to relate and connect with each other. Sharing testimonies about how God supernaturally changed our lives and situation helps us to connect with others who may be going through similar problems that we had. Shame makes people feel different from others, but by sharing our testimonies openly, we identify with them in their trials and troubles. We give them a sense of community, love and joy through the power of our testimonies.

Sharing our testimonies with well meaning people in our community helps them to remove the fear of shame, isolation, intimidation, and condemnation that they may have when their problems are exposed. Identifying with them through our testimonies will give them hope that since God changed our situation, He will do the same in their lives, also.

Finally, allow God to guide you to who, when and where you should share you testimony. Only share your testimonies when it is complete, and avoid people who loot or try to abort other people's praise reports.

Prayers:

Heavenly FATHER, I thank You for your WORD and the opportunity to testify of your goodness in my life. I ask that You give me a very resounding testimony these second phase of the year.

Give me wisdom to know who, when and where to share my testimonies. Through Your WORD and Your HOLY SPIRIT help me to sustain the testimonies of Your goodness in my life in JESUS name.
