THE POWER OF GOD'S SAVING GRACE

On a general term, saving grace is an idiom that expresses the one thing that saves or redeems us from what would otherwise be a total disaster. Our saving grace from life's troubles is the grace of salvation.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast". (Ephesians 2:8-9) NKJV

The Grace of God stops the power of sin, satan and all evil works in our lives. The grace of God protects us from the past, present and future tragedy. He keeps us from self destructive decisions and actions.

THE BIBLICAL INTERPRETATION OF GRACE

The word 'grace' in the New Testament comes from the Greek word, ‘Charis’. It means God's joy, pleasure, delight, goodness, loving-kindness, favor, mercy and strength. Through His saving grace, God increases our faith in Him. He causes us to know and do His will. He helps us to love Him more than anything else in this life and causes us to be passionate about His Kingdom purposes.

God's saving grace shows His sweetness and attractiveness.

Grace reveals GOD's favor, which is unmerited. His flavor, which is the indication of the essential character of God, His goodwill and His loving-kindness, since He is superior and we are inferior to Him.

WE ARE REDEEMED BY GRACE

God's saving grace shows us how He redeemed us from the dominion of sin and satan, how He makes His love and mercy available to us, sinners, who don't really deserve it.

The Scripture explains that the saving grace of God is available for everyone. Titus 2:11 records distinctly the readiness of God to give and forgive us now and always. It also teaches us how we ought to turn our backs on a godless, indulgent life, and take on a God-filled anGod-honoring life. (Message Bible)

Heavenly FATHER, I thank You for Your saving grace. Today, I receive what You offered me through grace. I receive Your saving grace by faith in the finished work of CHRIST at Calvary. Today, I take JESUS CHRIST as my Savior and LORD. I receive Your healing grace that sets me free from every sicknesses and diseases. I receive by faith I receive Your grace of protection and preservation from pestilences and tragedies in the name of the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Amen.
