SET FREE BY GRACE

The good news of JESUS CHRIST is a story of freedom and grace. CHRIST came to set us free, not because we deserve it, but because God reserved it for us in Him.

The LORD JESUS came so that we may have life and have it to the fullest. (John 10:10) He came to rescue us from the bondage of sin, sickness, satan, and self-imposed limitations. He came to give us complete freedom now and in eternity.

Scriptures: Ephesians 2:8

"For by grace are you saved through faith. That not of yourself, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast". (Ephesians 2:8)

"But how do I experience freedom in CHRIST?" You may ask.

The Scripture tells us that freedom is given to us on the platter of the grace of God and we can receive it by faith. Ephesians 2:8 records, "For by grace are you saved through faith. And that not of yourself, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast".

FAITH IN THE FINISHED WORK OF CHRIST

When we exercise faith in the finished work of CHRIST, we are made free. It doesn't come to us because of anything that we can do on our own, but it comes to us because of everything that the LORD JESUS CHRIST did on our behalf. He paid the full price for our redemption and sets us free from the death penalty and judgment that we deserve because of sin.

THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN CHRIST

When we come to CHRIST, we become the righteousness of God in Him. We have the right to stand before God without any sense of guilt, condemnation, or judgment. We are justified by His blood. The word justified means just as if we have never sinned. It means God forgave all of our sins and made us a new creatures in CHRIST. He delivered us from the dominion that sin and satan once had over us and set us free completely.

Let's Pray:

Heavenly FATHER, I thank you for Your gift of redemption and freedom in CHRIST. I receive them by faith in the name of the LORD JESUS CHRIST and give You all the glory. I declare that I am free indeed. I declare that sin, sickness, and satan will have no more dominion over me in the name of the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

JESUS REIGNS!
