LOVED BY GRACE

The love of God is eternal and absolutely unconditional. God showed us His love when we least qualified for it. His love came to us when we were really His enemy.

CHRIST is the grace of God personified. He is the full expression of the love of God to us. He gave Himself as God's sacrifice of love. He died for us when we were far too weak and rebellious to believe in the love of God or receive the grace of God. When we didn't know what to do about our sinful nature or get in tune with God, He did everything required to bring us back to God and made us new creatures in Him.

The Scriptures show us that there is a relationship between the love of God and the grace of God. It explains that the love of God gave birth to the grace of God. Grace appeared to all of humanity on the basis of the love of God. Grace is the physical manifestation of the love that is resident in the Heart of God the FATHER. Grace is the expression of the love of God on earth.

Scriptures:

"But God put His love on the line for us by offering His Son in sacrificial death while we were of no use whatever to Him." (Romans 5:8) Message Bible.

The love of God is eternal and absolutely unconditional. God showed us His love when we least qualified for it. His love came to us when we were really His enemy. Hence it doesn't depend on who we are or what we have done, but it depends absolutely on Who God is. 1John 4:7-8 tells us that God is love.

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LOVE AND GRACE

Just like the love of God, the grace of God is the favor that is unmerited, unearned, undeserved, yet Divinely reserved.

The book of Romans 5:7-8 explains further the relationship between the love of God and the grace of God. It states, "We can understand someone dying for a person worth dying for, and we can understand how someone good and noble could inspire us to selfless sacrifice. But God put His love on the line for us by offering His Son in sacrificial death while we were of no use whatever to him." (Message Bible)

God's grace appeared at the right time when we needed it most. Not one minute before or after. God made grace His undeserved, unearned, and unmerited favor happen for us at His own beautiful time. (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

The point is, we were not ready for the manifestation of the grace of God nor can we ever be ready because by nature we were sinful and rebellious until grace came. God knew we couldn't be ready, still, He decided to reach out to us and saved us through His grace. He demonstrated His unconditional love to us by unreservedly giving us the life of His Son. CHRIST made us, who were sinners, to become the righteousness of God in Him. (2Corinthians 5:21)

How so much loved we are because of God's free gift of grace, which is salvation through CHRIST. When we receive Him as our Savior and LORD, He takes control of our lives and makes us more than conquerors through His love. (Romans 8:37) Now we can appropriate God's love and grace in our lives by faith. It doesn't matter what we've been through or we are presently going through, it doesn't mean God has stopped loving us. Through thick and thin God's love for us is constant.

Let's Pray:

Heavenly FATHER, I thank You for your WORD. The Scripture says, “He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things” (Romans 8:32). Today, by Your undeserved grace, I am saved and declared righteous. I am called the blessed of the LORD. Through Your love and grace I receive Your free gift of salvation and every good thing You have reserved for me in CHRIST and I give You all the Glory in JESUS name. Amen.

JESUS REIGNS!
