LET YOUR FAITH CONQUER YOUR FEAR

The worst enemy of faith in God is fear. God promised to give you all things that pertain to this life and godliness. Don't let fear take that from you.

The promises of God in CHRIST are Yes and Amen. But fear will try to contradict the WORD of God by presenting you with false evidence against the promises of God. Fear is a lie from the one the Scripture calls the father of lies (liars), satan. When he speaks lies, he speaks his native language. (John 8:44) Fear is an acronym for False Evidence Appearing Real.

Scriptures: Joshua 1:9 (New Life Version)

"Have I not told you? Be strong and have the strength of heart! Do not be afraid or lose faith. For the Lord your God is with you anywhere you go.” (Joshua 1:9) New Life Version.

When Moses died, Joshua became afraid of the future, but God told him to be strong and not be afraid or lose faith. Because where fear rules, faith is absent.

If you entertain fear, you will not be able to realize the blessings that God has for you or ascend the height that He has chosen for you. Fear will make you forget God's past mercies, favors, and victories. It would cause your sense of appreciation to depreciate. You will become ungrateful and unthankful. Fear will make you disregard God's great deliverance and help.

FEAR BRINGS DISCOURAGEMENT AND DESPAIR

Fear will cause you to be discouraged and despair. Consequently, fear and discouragement will rob you of the joy of believing in God and receiving from Him. Fear is a weapon that satan uses to hinder people from activating their faith in God. Yes, you may say, "I believe God", but fear will try to stop you from adding feet to your faith. It will hinder you from acting on God's promises. James 2:17 says "faith, if it has no works, is dead being alone"

ACTIVATE YOUR FAITH TO CONQUER FEAR

Finally, because of the influence of fear, you will become like "...the blind who grope along the wall, feeling his way like people without eyes. At midday he stumbles as if it were twilight; among the strong, he is like the dead” (Isaiah 59:10 paraphrased)

Rather than live or walk-in fear, God wants you to trust Him to show Himself Mighty in your life. He wants you to activate faith in His WORD to conquer your fears.

Let's Pray:

Heavenly FATHER, I thank You for Your WORD today. I choose faith over fear. I choose to trust Your WORD and I resist all the lies of satan through fear in the name of the LORD JESUS CHRIST. I declare that I overcome all fears through faith. I walk by faith, not by sight. I walk in righteousness, power, and victory in JESUS’ name. Amen.
