CHANGE STARTS FROM WITHIN

Change is what happens in you, not just what happens to you. True change happens when we allow God to change us from the inside out.

For change to last, it must begin from the inside because the root cause of most human problems is internal. So, take time to look inward to evaluate your life so far, ponder upon your present situation and decide how to approach change now and in the future.

Scriptures:

"God made my life complete when I placed all the pieces before Him. When I got my act together, He gave me a fresh start." (Psalm 18:20) Message Bible

Think about your past actions or those people who have had an influence in your life, see how it affects your life and the lives of others now. By correcting the past mistakes that you discovered when you looked inward and backward, you will find lasting solutions to your present and future problems.

If freedom from pain, hardship, failed relationship, frustration or limitation is the change you desire, look beyond what is visible presently and journey to the past. It would help you analyze and explain past problems, identify the patterns that were created unknowingly and provide you with a very important perspective for understanding and finding solutions to your present and future problems.

THE WAY FORWARD IS INWARD

Usually, the way forward is inward and sometimes backward. Looking inward and backward will help you to identify the root cause of the problem you are facing and the right approach to solve them. Looking backward is not meant to torment you by what you didn’t do, but to help you understand how to correct the present situation of your life when compared to the past.

True change happens when we allow God to change us from the inside out, and when we gaze backward and consider how to improve our lives today by correcting the mistakes we made yesterday. Also, looking inward would help us to discover the intrinsic potentials that lay buried in us, and the wisdom and abilities God gave us to break the status quo and experience change.

Let's Pray:

Heavenly FATHER, I thank You for your WORD. I receive grace to correct my present situation by understanding a pattern created from my past. I ask that the HOLY SPIRIT will guide me through my process of change in JESUS NAME. Amen.
