KEEPING YOUR FAITH ALIVE

Faith in God may seem like an abstract concept, but in reality, it is a living force. It is not a feeling, a philosophy, or a mind game, but it is a spiritual force because it originates from God the FATHER of spirits.

Faith in God is a strong force, however, it grows stronger when you nurture it. Faith increases when you get more of it from its source. The primary source of our faith is God Himself. Romans 12:3, tells us that the initial measure of faith that we have was given to us by God. Also, the secondary source of our faith is God's WORD. Romans 10:17 states, "So then faith comes by hearing and hearing the WORD of God".

Just as faith comes when we hear, listen, and give attention to the WORD of God, similarly, faith goes -- depletes, decreases, and depreciates when we hear, listen and give attention to words that oppose the principles, promises, and power of God. These words are from satan to instill fear, doubt, and unbelief in our minds and heart and make it impossible for us to receive the promises and provisions of God.

Scriptures:

"What is faith? It is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead. (Hebrews 11:1) Living Bible

Keeping your faith alive in the face of very opposing, difficult, and hard situations isn’t hard to figure out. As soon as you can identify who is speaking to you, you can already resist and expel the enemy of faith in God. The devil is the author of fear, doubt, unbelief, and confusion-- especially concerning our faith in God. Yes, satan and his demons are the enemies who don’t want us to be confident in God's promises. Because they know that if we keep our faith alive and continue to trust God, we’ll be able to claim His promises and receive His blessings.

Faith is a spiritual substance that gives us assurance of the things we expect from God. A substance is the most important or essential part of something. Faith in God is the most important thing in our relationship with Him. Without faith, we cannot please God (Hebrews 11:6) Faith is the substance of our covenant relationship with God.

FAITH IN GOD IS A SUPERNATURAL FORCE

Faith is a supernatural force and it's constant in power. It performs today what it did many years ago. It will work wonders for us just as it did in the life and ministry of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. It is because of the consistency of the power of faith that the LORD JESUS says, "those who believe in Him will do the same works as He did, and even do greater works". (John 14:12)

Faith activates the promises and power of God in our lives and situations today just as it did in the days of the apostles of CHRIST. Hebrews 13:8 states, "JESUS CHRIST is the same yesterday, today, and forever". If faith moves mountains yesterday, it will do the same today.

Faith is a steady force. It is fixed on God, Who cannot change nor fail. Faith is an ever-present and ever-existing force. It exists in the now of our relationship with God. Hebrews 11:1 (KJV) tells us, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for...” So, faith is now (present tense). It works now in our lives and situations and makes everything that may seem impossible to be possible. The Scriptures record, "all things are possible to him who believes". (Mark 9:23)

FAITH IS YOUR RESPONSE TO THE PROMISES OF GOD

Don't push forward your answers from God when you pray. Expect your answers from God to come -- today! Receive them in your heart by faith now, and you will have them in your hands. The LORD JESUS says, "Whatsoever things you desire when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them". (Mark 11:24)

Faith is your response to the promises, provisions, and power of God—NOW! If you respond in the present tense, it will determine your present and future victory. Faith decrees and declares, "because God has said it, I believe it, and it is settled in JESUS NAME. I know that God never fails, He will do what He says He will do for me, and perform what He has promised me in His WORD. So I eliminate every doubt, unbelief, and fear, and I stand firmly on God's WORD".

Let's Pray:

Heavenly FATHER, I thank You for your WORD. I keep my faith in You alive by keeping it in the present tense. I believe that I receive everything I'm believing You for. I believe they are here for me now—today! I choose to move in the rhythm of faith, which is present tense and I thank You for answers to all my prayers now in JESUS' NAME. Amen.

JESUS REIGNS!
