HEARING THE VOICE OF GOD

God has solutions to all your problems and answers to all your questions. If you have a desire to hear from Him.

God wants to speak to you about your situation and give you specific instructions how to solve it. He wants to tell you what you must do to receive His provisions. Where ever you are at right now in your journey, He wants to help you hear His voice and know His will.

The LORD JESUS CHRIST states clearly and unequivocally in the Gospels that His disciples have the relational right and privilege to recognize His voice. Because He knows them, and they follow Him. He gives them real and eternal life and they are protected from the destroyer. Particularly because He is the Good Shepherd.

“My sheep hear my voice, I know them and they follow me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand...." NKJV

God wants to speak to you about your day to day activities through His WORD and His SPIRIT. He doesn't go quiet on His children when they speak to Him. Just because you are not hearing from God yet, doesn't mean He didn't listen when you prayed or He is not willing to speak to you. Perhaps, the problem you may have is that something is blocking the way of your conversation.

Clearing the way to hear from God is very crucial to your relationship and fellowship with God. The answer to every trouble your are facing is hearing from God and doing what He asked you to do. (See John 2:5)

An instruction from God, when obeyed, can change your life forever. Obedience to God is a true expression of our trust in God and worshipping Him. It helps us to get closer to him, prepare for the next level He wants to take us and grow up in our spiritual awareness and experience.

TWO REASONS WHY PEOPLE DON'T HEAR AND HEED GOD'S VOICE

Two things maybe responsible for not hearing from God;

i. Mental blockage, such as religious, relational, psychological or intellectual mindset could be a

reason why people don't hear and heed God's voice.

ii. A spiritual entity such as a demon or an evil spirit can create ignorance, headiness or negligence to stop people from hearing and heeding the voice of God.

ii. Intellectual or religious mindset caused by doubt and unbelief is another reason why people find it difficult to hear the voice of God.

When it's a demon spirit creating a barrier to hearing from God, you should cast it out in the name of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, and if it is a problem of mindset, you should renew your mind in the WORD of God through active meditation on the promises of God.

There’s no reason to go day after day or week after week, without hearing from God on matters that bother you. You don't have to be stuck in the non-hearing place, it’s time to hear from God and do what He tells you to do.

Let's Pray:

Heavenly FATHER, I thank You for Your WORD. I cast out every demon spirit blocking the way of my hearing Your voice and I intentionally renew my mind in Your WORD through a faith based meditation, so I can hear Your voice clearly in JESUS name. Amen.
