GRACE TO RUN THE RACE

There are two important things the LORD wants to do for us as we journey through life: He wants to give us His grace to run the race.

God wants us to believe Him for the provisions of His grace for each day that we see, as the Scriptures say, "for now the just shall live by his faith", (Hebrews10:38) have a living hope for tomorrow, "for hope does not make ashamed" (Romans 5:5), and receive grace to press into the great future He has prepared for us. (Jeremiah 29:11)

Scriptures:

"And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of CHRIST may rest upon me." (2 Corinthians 12:9) NKJV

More than ever before, let's ask and believe God for daily strength and grace to run the race that is set before us. Let's believe for grace to finish well and strong and strength to rise up daily as more than conquerors through CHRIST Who loves us.

Because we live in the days the Scriptures describe as perilous times, victory over the onslaughts of the forces of darkness won't come by our physical strength or natural wisdom, but it will come by the Wisdom of God and demonstration of the Power of God.

STRENGTH FOR TODAY, AND GRACE FOR TOMORROW

A line in the popular hymn, “Great is Thy faithfulness” speaks of “Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow.” further buttressing this point. It means both strength and grace from God work for the same purpose. God give us strength today, and give us abundant grace to approach and apprehend the future He has prepared for us in CHRIST.

Let these be the theme of our prayers as we journey through life. Let's ask God for more revelations of His WORD and His Will for us, and let's desire more of His Strength and Grace in our lives.

Let's Pray:

Heavenly FATHER, I thank You for your WORD. Thank You for giving me strength for each day, and grace to face the future. I resist the voice of fear and trepidation and I stand strong in the LORD and in faith. I declare that I have victory and dominion through Your ever-abiding presence and grace. I give You all the glory and praise in JESUS' NAME. Amen.

JESUS REIGNS!
