GIVE GOD THE FIRST PLACE

Many people in the world long for the blessings of God. It is their heart cry daily. They want their problems resolved, and their troubles to be over. So they can continue their life as if nothing has happened.

The reason the LORD JESUS came to the world is really to solve human problems. So that we may have a life that is filled with the goodness and favor of God. He came to rescue us from the bondage of sin, the affliction of sickness, the oppression of satan and his demons, and the self-inflicting frustrations and limitations because of bad choices. He came to give us joy now and in eternity.

Scriptures: Matthew 6:33 (Amplified Version)

"But first and most importantly seek, aim at, strive after His (God's) kingdom and His righteousness, His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God, and all these things will be given to you also". (Matthew 6:33) Amplified Version

Just as you want your problems to be over, the WORD of God promises us that when you search for God with all your heart, mind, and strength, you would find Him. (Jeremiah 33:3) When you seek His kingdom, His way of being, living, and doing, He will grant the desires of your heart

When you seek God for Who He is, He will stretch out His hands and bless you in return. This is His order of doing things. When you come into His presence, start by satisfying His longing for relationship and fellowship with you, afterwards, ask Him to meet your other needs. Then, He will satisfy both your longing for Him and your desires from Him.

WHEN YOU SEEK GOD FIRST, HE ADDS OTHER THINGS IN RETURN

The LORD JESUS puts it this way in Matthew 6:33, reading from the Amplified Bible, "Seek first God's way of being, living and doing, then He will add other things (His blessings) in return to you". (Paraphrased)

YOU FIND JOY AND PEACE IN SEEKING GOD

There is nothing more important to our lives than seeking God first for Who He is. We find joy and peace in seeking Him. The moment we set our heart on Him, He brings us to the realm of His abundant blessings and favor. Then we realize that God is more willing to bless us than we are ready to receive from Him. His hands are stretched out to bless us. He longs to lavish us with His love and abundant blessings.

Heavenly FATHER, I thank you for the privilege to ask from You in prayers. I thank You also that I can receive answers to all my prayers in the name of the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Help me to set my priorities right whenever I come into Your presence. Now I receive with thanksgiving all the blessings that You have reserved for me in CHRIST and I give You all the glory in advance for them in JESUS' name. Amen.
