God wants to Reset your Mind to put your Mind to Rest

The world is doing so much to put our minds on the wrong things. But God wants us to stay focused on pure, positive and true things.

Scriptures:

“Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise." Philippians 4:8 (NLT)

The Scripture tells us in the Amplified version, “Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart. (Philippians 4:8) Amplified version

It means that we can build our lives on a good, positive, and productive line of thought. We don't have to become prisoners to bad, negative, and unproductive thoughts.

Resist the voice of satan and the world

The world system is daily bombarding us with information that is untrue and unedifying. What is shown in the mainstream media promotes satan's ideology as against Scriptural truth. They tell us, if it feels good do it. If it looks good wear it, and if it tastes good eat it. All you have to do is "just do it".

When life gets really bad they point accusing fingers at you, saying that you are not really good and you don't matter in the scheme of things. They try to define you by your experiences and name you by your circumstances.

The devil is a liar and the father of lies

The devil is a liar and the father of lies. You don’t have to believe what the world says about you. You are whom God says you are. Fill your mind with God's thoughts concerning you. The WORD of God says that you are a child of God. You're loved, accepted, and celebrated by God. The LORD JESUS said that Heaven rejoiced when you got saved.

This way of thinking will set you free from every self-inflicting, life defeating and people demeaning thought. It will give you a breakthrough where you've suffered a breakdown. It will give you testimonies in your tests and cause you to triumph over your troubles. When you give yourself to study God's WORD daily, you will overcome all the lies of the enemy.

Give Attention to God's WORD

Don't imagine that you can't give attention to reading God's WORD. Consider how much time you give to social media - Instagram, Youtube, and Facebook among others. God wants to reset your mind through His WORD, so He can give you rest in your mind. Read the WORD of God every day.

Tell yourself every day, "I am whom God says I am. I have what God says I have. I can do what the WORD of God says I can do. And I can do all things through CHRIST who strengthens me".

Trust everything God says about you and the promises He made to you because He will bring them to pass. He is too faithful to fail you.

Heavenly FATHER, I thank You for Your WORD. I believe in Your promises concerning my life. I choose to renew my mind in Your WORD. I have my heart and mind at rest because I trust in You. And, I give You all the glory in JESUS' name. Amen.
