GET DEEPLY ROOTED IN CHRIST

In this age of superficial living and fake it till you make it, God wants His children to be authentic in their relationship with Him. He wants us to be real, to come to Him in sincerity of our heart, humility and honesty.

Scriptures: Colossians 2:7

“Keep your roots deep in him, build your lives on him, and become stronger in your faith, as you were taught. And be filled with thanksgiving". (Colossians 2:7) Good News Translation

As believers in CHRIST, the only way to become authentic in your walk with God is to have your root deeply rooted in CHRIST by making the decision to grow in your fellowship with Him.

Spiritual growth happens when we spend quality time with the LORD. When we stay in His Presence for a fresh revelation of His WORD and absorb the riches of His grace through an ever increasing knowledge of His will.

DON'T LET THE WORLD SYSTEM SWEEP YOU OFF YOUR FEET

You should not allow the world system and it's many schemes to sweep you off your feet and get you distracted from your commitment to the LORD. If you are a believer in CHRIST, you do not belong to the world – your citizenship and inheritance from Heaven.

God wants to bring you into a deeper relationship and fellowship with Himself through His Son, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Now, this is an invitation for everyone, everywhere, and not just believers.

FIVE WAYS TO TO BE DEEPLY ROOTED IN CHRIST

* Get planted in the Love of God through the grace of salvation by faith. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

* Get planted in the knowledge of the WORD of God by delighting yourself in meditating on it day and night. (Psalms 1:2-3)

* Get planted in the worship and service of God by getting involved in His work through a Christian community (Psalm 100:2)

* Get planted in communion with God through the baptism of the HOLY SPIRIT with the evidence of speaking in tongues and regularly praying in the SPIRIT. (Acts 2:1-5)

* Get planted in faith through a daily devotion and revelation knowledge of the WORD of God. Your faith in God grows as you grow in the knowledge of His WORD. (Romans 10:17)

Let's Pray:

Heavenly FATHER, I thank You for the privilege to be saved and to grow in the knowledge of Your will. I commit myself to get deeply rooted in CHRIST by daily laying hold of Your WORD and become a partaker of Your grace and glory. I receive grace through faith to possess the good treasure of a daily fellowship with You and enjoy peace, purity, power and abundant provisions from You in JESUS name. Amen.
