THE EMPOWERING GRACE

The popular definition of grace is God's unmerited favor. Primarily, this refers to the saving grace of God. But much more than saving us through grace, God wants to empower us by His grace to daily live in victory over all the temptations, trials, and troubles from satan.

Just as we were saved by grace through faith, God empowers us by His grace through faith. It is our faith in the WORD of God that activates the power of His grace in our lives. It is also called enabling or strengthening grace. I

Grace fulfills Philippians 4:13 in our lives every time we need strength from God. It reminds us that we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength.

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. Not of works lest anyone should boast." Ephesians 2:8

GOD'S GRACE CAUSES US TO STAND STRONG AGAINST THE ENEMY

Through the empowerment of the grace of God, we can exercise authority and dominion in the spiritual realm. Romans 5:17b says, "...much more, those who have received an abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall reign in this life through JESUS CHRIST".

The empowering grace of God causes us to stand strong against the enemy. It keeps us strong in the spirit, so we don't get wiped out by our natural limitations or the weakness of our flesh. We don't try to make our life, relationship with God and people, marriage, career, education, business, or health work, strictly by our strength, but by the strength of God. We trust absolutely in the grace of God.

Let's Pray:

Heavenly FATHER, I thank You that I am saved by grace through faith. I thank You also that I am empowered by Your grace daily to overcome sins, sickness, and satan. Now, I activate Your empowering grace in every aspect of my life by faith in JESUS’ name. Amen.
