"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast". God has placed so much power in His grace for believers in CHRIST to access by faith. The power of grace is about how God expects us to share His grace with everyone around us who has not received the powerful message of CHRIST, the good news about how He died to save us from sin, satan, and ourselves. How His precious blood was shed on the Calvary cross when He became the propitiation (the go-between) for our sins against God. So that we who were enemies of God, can become friends of God. The Scripture teaches that the grace of God is received by faith. Ephesians 2:8-9 states, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast". When we approach God's throne of grace by faith, He gives us free access to His immeasurable love, which He has provided for us, to lead us into absolute devotion and worship in His presence. Grace brings us to a state of reverence and submission, so that when He speaks, we listen and where He leads we go. When the HOLY SPIRIT flows within us, we intentionally yield to Him without struggling in the flesh. Besides the grace of salvation that brings us from darkness to light, sin to righteousness, and from the condemnation of satan to the justification of CHRIST, we can receive more grace from God through humility. James 4:6 tells us that "He gives more grace. Therefore He says: God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble." The word humility or being humble is synonymous with meekness, lowliness, and self-sacrificing. The Greek word translated “humility" in the Scriptures means “lowliness of mind,” and a heart attitude that goes beyond outward demeanor. God's concept of humility transcends the outward show of humility because it is possible for someone to be outwardly humble and be internally filled with pride and arrogance. Biblical humility means that we admit to our need for God and without Him we are nothing. It is this kind of attitude that causes God to release more of His grace into our lives. Grace to you. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose, the Son of God was manifested, so that He might destroy the works of the devil. (1 JOHN 3:8) NKJV The declaration of the purpose of JESUS preceded His birth. Long before Adam sinned and committed high treason against God, He made provision for his redemption. He plans ahead of every event, hence nothing catches HIM by surprise. God could plan ahead of every situation because He is omniscient. He knows the end from the beginning and the beginning from the end. He declares from eternity what would take place in time. He sits upon the circle of the earth and yet carries the universe in His hands. He is God and there is none else besides Him. Nothing we do or don’t do makes Him more of God or any less God, He is God all by Himself. What He does will last till eternity if He chooses that they do. He is the King — the Emperor of the universe and His decree no one could question. Here is what Job said concerning Him, “He is wise in heart and mighty in strength: who has hardened himself against Him and prosper” (Job 9:4). His plans are perfect and in executing them He is detailed. No one is capable of stopping Him when He sets out to carry out His plan. And what sometimes may seem like a failed execution of His plan is His strategy to prove to His opponents that He is indeed God. It was God who gave JESUS the task to come to the world to execute His counsel on earth. To fulfill the purpose of putting satan’s dastardly acts to a halt and to destroy all his works. After the LORD JESUS had accomplished His purpose on the earth, God gave John, one of His disciples, the summary of all that He came to do on the earth. I will quote from the Amplified version because it gives a clearer picture and more detailed information about what CHRIST accomplished on earth. It reads, “...He who commits sin, who practice evildoing is of the devil (takes his character from the evil one, the devil has sinned, violated the divine law from the beginning. The reason the Son of God was made manifest (made known) was to undo, (destroy, loosen, and dissolve) the works the devil has done.” (1 John 3:8). And He did a good job, on the CROSS He said, “it is finished - meaning it is done, I have carried out the purpose God has for me on earth. I have satisfied the cause of justice, my mission has been accomplished”. There is a fundamental detail to what He accomplished, which the Amplified version spelled out. He came to undo, loosen and dissolve the works the devil already did on earth and He finished it through His death on the CROSS. So, on the CROSS, He declared “it is done”. We often think that JESUS was made manifest when He was born and three wise men visited Him, as He laid as a child, in the manger, or when John baptized Him in Jordan, and the Heavens open to attest to His Son-ship. But no, those were private events that only a few witnessed. It was when He died on the CROSS we witness the visibleness of the LORD JESUS CHRIST. He became exposed to the world and all eyes in Jerusalem saw him hanging on that CROSS. That was where the difference was made. Grace to you and Shalom always. JESUS REIGNS!

"In Him (CHRIST) we have redemption [that is, our deliverance and salvation] through His blood, [which paid the penalty for our sin and resulted in] the forgiveness and complete pardon of our sin, in accordance with the riches of His grace." (Ephesians 1:7) Amplified Bible God’s covenant with people is ratified by blood. The idea of blood seals the agreement between Him and His people. By introducing the principle of blood into their covenant pact, it shows the meeting of two lives - His life and their life, (the life of the flesh is the blood thereof—Leviticus 17:11-14) and that the two parties to the covenant has become one. Instead of using the blood of animals, as often practiced in the Old Testament, God introduced the blood of His only Son in the New Covenant. Through the blood of JESUS CHRIST, He seals the Covenant between Him and mankind. Hence, CHRIST is both Son of God (Divine) and Son of man (Human). He shared like the two parties, so He can represent both in the Covenant. There are substantial proofs in the Scriptures that reveal that the blood of JESUS CHRIST is very powerful. One such proof is the fact that His blood contains the “ZOE” life of God. The breath of God that brought about His conception as a child made Him more than just a human being. At His birth, He was called a child of the HOLY SPIRIT. (See Matthew 1:18) The Anointing of the HOLY SPIRIT in the life of the LORD JESUS made His blood very powerful. It destroys the power of sin, satan, and curses and brings God’s children into His blessings. The Power of the blood of JESUS never wanes. He is constant. Everything around us is constantly changing. Nothing in the world ever stays the same for very long. Information is changing. Technology is changing. Our currency is changing in value. Our bodies are changing, and our relationships and our neighborhoods are changing, too. But the Scripture tells us that JESUS is the same, He is unchanging, (Hebrews13:8.) The Power of the blood of JESUS CHRIST still saves people today, just as He did over 2000 years ago when He walked the earth. HEALING THROUGH THE BLOOD Several years ago, a friend and I visited a young lady who was very sick. Her illness could not be explained by medical science. Every attempt medically to heal her proved futile. When we got to her, she was lying helpless on a couch and could hardly sit to speak with us. When we decided to pray with her, the LORD told me to administer the Holy Communion to her. He said He would heal her by the Power of the blood of JESUS. So, I asked for communion elements, which are representations of the Body and Blood of the LORD JESUS. Bread and fruit drink were served, I prayed over them and gave her the communion as instructed by the HOLY SPIRIT. A few minutes after we administered the communion to her, she stood up from where she had laid and began to walk around the house. The healing power of JESUS CHRIST had gone into her and cleansed all her internal organs through the Power of Communion. The LORD JESUS CHRIST healed her by the Power of His broken body and the life in His blood. Someone may ask, “Did you have the power to heal her?” No, I did not have the power to heal her. She was not healed by my power, but she was healed through the power of the Name of LORD JESUS CHRIST. It was the Power of His blood and His name that healed her. The LORD JESUS alone saves, heals, and delivers people who are oppressed by satan. The Scripture tells us that our freedom from sin, satan, and curses is made possible through the death of the LORD JESUS CHRIST on the Cross. The blood that He shed on the Cross gives us access to the Supernatural Life of God that is resident in Him. Through the Power of His Blood, we can receive forgiveness of our sins and partake of His Divine Nature. Grace to you and Shalom always. JESUS REIGNS!!
