Gospel missions come with their peculiar problems and challenges. They entail sacrifice for the sent and the sending agents. In the book of Acts, the church of CHRIST in Antioch, being instructed by the HOLY SPIRIT, sent Barnabas and Paul on their missionary journey (Acts 13:1–4). The sense of sacrifice that came into the group was quite enormous.
